The Gionee M2017 is powered by 1.44GHz octa-core Qualcomm Xiolong processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. Gionee did an amazing and surprising job on the M2017. With an Internal Memory of 128 GB ROM, The internal storage is not expandable no SD card slot space was made available on the device.  As far as the cameras are concerned, the Gionee M2017 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Gionee M2017 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 7000mAh non removable battery. It measures 155.20 x 77.60 x 10.78 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 238.00 grams.

                        

Up front, there’s a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display with curved edges on either side, similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge. There’s also a fingerprint sensor up front, capacitive navigation, and a pretty interesting design all around. Gionee is definitely targeting a premium market with this phone



There is fingerprint sensor right under the dual rear camera for a smooth unlocking and private data security.

There will be two versions of the Gionee M2017 sold in China. One has 128GB of on-board storage for about $1,007 while the version with 256GB of storage is priced at about $2,446 Obviously, we are not yet sure if the smartphone will be available outside china.
