How To Root Camon C9

This step shows you how to root your Camon c9 most people only do this because they want to change there fonts, well this steps will enable you to root your C8 simple.

follow the steps below

1. CWM recovery image Ported by team hovatek (download here)
2. Super SU.zip (download it here)
3. Unlocking the boot-loader of Tecno Camon C9

HOW TO ROOT TECNO CAMON C9

>>Copy the downloaded Super SU to both internal storage of your phone and SD card.

>>Extract and copy the CWM recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe

>>Unlock Tecno Camon C9 bootloader (see guide  here)

>>Connect the phone to your PC via USB cord while switched ON and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide)

>>If  your device enters fast boot, flash the recovery.img to the phone by typing “flash recovery recovery.img” then press Enter fastboot 

>>Reboot the phone by typing the command be” fastboot reboot“  then pressing Enter

>>Boot the phone into recovery mode by switching off and using Volume up button + Power button

>>After  entering recovery mode, use the volume button to move up and down

>>Scroll down to Install zip and select it

>>Then select Choose zip from /storage/sdcard1

 >>Navigate to the location of SuperSu.zip and select it

>>Select Yes – Install SuperSU to confirm flashing, Then wait till the flashing is complete

Now after you are done with the flashing, Continue by following the steps below..

Go to the home screen (using the back option) then select Reboot  “If CWM offers to fix some errors, select No.”

Once you are done, confirm if your device has been successfully rooted by installing root checker
