Lenovo is apparently working on the next Vibe P1 and Vibe P1 Turbo successor with welcome specifications indicating a huge step up.
The device features upgraded chipset and memory capacity believed to deliver better speed and performance while running for longer hours.
On key specifications of Lenovo Vibe P2; the fingerprint-enabled smartphone has a slimmer body and packs a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen which looks better in clarity than its predecessors. There is a 1080p resolution supporting user’s screen viewing experience and a 2.5D glass on top of the display.
Speed and performance are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 2GHz. Graphics is also handled by Adreno 506.
Interestingly, There is 4GB RAM on board for a fast response. Lenovo P1 and P1 Turbo pack 2GB & 3GB RAM respectively. This is quite impressive as you don’t need a RAM booster to run multiple applications;
For user experience, there is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow powering booting and UI.
Thinking about battery life? The new Vibe P2 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery.
Samsung has extended the refresher move to the A8 smartphone which is aimed at making the model relevant and competitive. A closer look at this 2016 version reveals a slight difference in the memory speed and performance; the first A8 is powered by 1.2GHz CPU speed, the newer variant runs at 2.1GHz.
The fingerprint sensor is also available for security.
Display & Os
Samsung Galaxy A8 sports a 5.1-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920p resolution; still a plus for those looking for a clearer display.
It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow Os.
Hardware & Memory
It is powered by an upgraded Exynos 7420 chipset; an octa-core CPU processor clocked at 2.1GHz. Just like the older version, there is 3GB of RAM supporting smooth multitasking and massive 32GB expandable memory on board.
Camera
The phone also has good photography potentials. A 16MP camera with LED flash on the back department capable of recording 1080p is not bad at all. The front unit is 5MP.
Power
Every you do on the 2016 version of Samsung A8 relies on a 3050mAh battery.
