What You Need To Know
- This MiUi 8 epic Android 6.0.1 ROM is meant for only Gionee S6s only
- Your gionee s6s smartphone should have a custom recovery installed if you dont have it, you can get it here -Twrp Recovery For Gionee S6s
- Because We will be using Twrp Recovery for flashing this Rom
- Note backup up your important file before formaring
- You can backup your IMEI with Mobile uncle before flashing the ROM or copy it down somewhere
How To Flash MiUi 8 epic ROM for Gionee S6s
- Place Miui 8 Rom and Gapps at the root of your SD card make sure its not in any folder
- Boot into recovery, ( you can Backup previous ROM, in case anything goes wrong]
- Navigate and Select WIPE, ADVANCED WIPE
- Now Tick, SYSTEM, CACHES, DATA & Internal Storage I.e. phone storage if u want to format phone. I recommend you format it to avoid bootlop.
- After, the WIPING(format) PROCESS, navigate back to the main menu
- Select INSTALL,Navigate and locate the ROM which you saved to your SD card and select.
- After installation, WIPE the CACHE AND DALVIK options at the left of your Screen.
- Now navigate back to the main menu and Reboot your Phone.
