How To Request For Desktop Version Of Website On Android Device
Requesting for desktop site on your smartphone is really easy, depending on which browser your using. For those who keep wondering why requesting for desktop version of any website is necessary you will notice that many websites automatically load their mobile version. This is because the browser you are using identifies itself as a mobile based application to the websites you are visiting.
Being restricted to the mobile version of a website can be annoying since they often lack features offered by their desktop version. If you would prefer to view the desktop version of websites on your mobile. it can be useful especially when your not close to your laptop or desktop, it's actually one of the best way to get the work done when your far from your pc.
For example i do request for desktop version of websites on my phone, most times i use it to register for stuffs that i can only do while using my pc. For those who would like to use this idea, follow the below steps carefully.
HOW TO REQUEST FOR DESKTOP SITE ON MY PHONE?
- Open the native browser on your Android it can be any browser but i use chrome to browse on my phone.
- Type about:debug in the address / URL bar and press Enter.
- You don't need to expect anything to load, it will just be as if a page failed to load.
- Next, open the browser’s settings via the icon in the top right corner like in the below image and tick request desktop site.

That all you need to do, just type the website you want to visit in the address bar and it will load the desktop version.

Also note that the browser will go back to default when you reboot your device, so in other to use it again you have to perform the above steps agains.
