The Nokia 6 runs on Android Nougat and is manufactured by Foxconn under an agreement with HMD Global, the Finnish company that purchased the right to the Nokia brand in 2016. Nokia was light on the details, it seems possible that the company has more Android devices to announce for others markets around the globe, possibly even one for the US market. It’s also possible Nokia will launch a few fancy feature phones, The Nokia 6 is the first smartphone from HMD Global, created through the partial divestment of Nokia's devices division, and the first Nokia-branded smartphone since the Lumia 638 in 2014.

The phone has a 5.5-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 16MP rear-facing camera.

The Nokia 6 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery. It measures 154.00 x 75.80 x 7.85 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 167.00 grams.

The Nokia 6 is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) smartphone that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
